Since 1993, the Port has financed over $1.5 billion worth of fixed assets in Greater Cleveland. Its investment has been integral in shaping the economic and social fabric of the region.

County Engineers

The Cuyahoga County Engineer's Office has demonstrated exceptional design, construction and  maintenance of Cuyahoga County's transportation system.  The establishment of effective partnerships with the Ohio Department of Transportation and Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordination Agency has  enabled the County to successfully undertake numerous projects.  The County's success can also be attributed to its ability to actively engage the public for input in the planning and implementation of projects.

RTA

The Greater Cleveland Regional Transportation Authority serves approximately 200,0000 daily customers in Cuyahoga County’s 59 municipalities.  RTA, named "the best transit system in North America” in 2007, takes great strides in improving the quality and cost effectiveness of its services.  Further, RTA assists the region in reducing emissions and congestion by eliminating 50,000 cars daily from the roadways of  Northeast Ohio and is responsive to the economic development needs of the community through developments like the Euclid Corridor "Silver Line" Rapid Transit Service, and the deployment of the downtown trolleys, where the fare is "free with a smile".

Sewer District

For 35 years, the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District has been assuring clean water for a Greater Cleveland.  Our efforts to safely and efficiently return clean water to Lake Erie after proper wastewater treatment has breathed life back into the Cuyahoga River and the lakefront.  Treatment, monitoring, enforcement, maintenance, the Sewer District does it all when it comes to clean water.  And it's done to protect your health and the environment.
